This post is not about the Rugby World Cup but... While I could hear the France vs England match starting and the English fans shouting from the pub accross the road (is that a good sign? I do not know the score) I found this article on France Info's website. For you non-French speakers, the article is about French and English not getting on well for the last millenium, so is there anything new? France Info is usually one of my favourite radios. If you can read French, have a look at the article, and you will find that the Sun -UK tabloid- is quite mild compared to this whole page of cliches. The best bit is this recording of a couple singing their national anthem at the same time. She is English, he is French. For those who were wondering, Phil and I never tried that trick. Maybe we should. It sounds incredibly fun.
